Detroit Eliminates Yankees
“So… How ’bout them Tigers” is no longer something you say to break uncomfortable silence. It actually means something now! The Detroit Tigers advance to the ALCS!!!
Given a second chance to send the Tigers into a playoff series against his old club, Jeremy Bonderman delivered. Bonderman was overwhelming Saturday, and so was the Tigers’ lineup. They combined for the 8-3 victory that eliminated the Yankees at jammed and joyous Comerica Park.
