AmoK Playlist Copy
I just found a great piece of software called AmoK Playlist CoPy. It allows you to open any playlist (.m3u, .wpl, .xml). From there, you can export all the songs in that playlist to a directory of your choosing, or convert the playlist to .m3u or .wpl file.
This works great for me since I’ve been using Windows Media Player to manage all my media. Unfortunately, due to iTunes’ lack of support for .wpl playlists, I cannot. Why Apple doesn’t add support is beyond me — it would make transitioning to iTunes easier. Using AmoK Playlist Copy, I can finally import my playlists to an iPod!
