The System Is Down
The power went out for an hour or so. No big deal, right? Reset a few clocks… boot up the computers…

Or not. My main system doesn’t seem to respond at all. I can only guess that either the power supply is shot, or the motherboard is dead. I’ll be stopping by the local Microcenter tomorrow. I’m hoping it’s just the power supply. :\

No UPS? Should invest in one. Not as bad of luck as vladi though.

I have an UPS (actually several - one for each computer). My computer shutdown like it was supposed to. The problem was my power supply was not adequate. I’ve had problems before where I would shutdown my computer, and it simply wouldn’t start back up. I’d just wait a minute, and try again. I think this time was the last straw, though.
