So today is our housewarming party! We’ve invited some friends, family, and colleagues over for some good food & drinks. We haven’t gotten nearly as much done as we wanted to before the party. Our original plan to paint & get art to cover the walls somehow fell behind schedule. We also wanted to have more furniture; shelves, bar stools, etc. Since we’ve been living here for a few months now, we figured we had to invite people over sometime before the end of the summer. Tanya and I also got a mini version of our grooms cake at our wedding. It’s basically a “death-by-chocolate” cake with Baileys Irish Cream mousse filling. I can’t wait to dig in!
