Movie Pre-Show Ads Up - Box Office Down
Forbes:
Studio execs may say they hate seeing ads in theaters, but they continue to make deals to provide promo content for the pre-show blurb parade.
Who wants to pay ~$8 for a movie ticket, another $8-10 for popcorn and a drink, only to be bombarded with 20 minutes of ads before the movie finally starts?

amanda and i went to see saw at star john-r.. the disturbing part was the 5 advertisements before it started. these folks, http://www.nomovieads.com/ have filed a class action lawsuit about this issue.
didn’t i already pay for this movie? http://www.didntialreadypayforthismovie.com/
my cup of coke (r) has advertisments, so did my pop-secret popcorn (enjoy it at home or the theatre,) how soon before they cover the walls with advertising wallpaper? amanda thinks they won’t do it because that’d be tacky. i think it’s only a matter of time
