WiFi phone in the works from Skype

Skype CEO Niklas Zennstrom announced the company plans to put out a VoWLAN phone, which will allow customers to connect to the Skype voice network via WiFi. Digital photos can look great, but some labs won’t print those that appear too professional. One example: Wal-Mart refused to print pictures someone took of their kid, simply becaused they looked professional to the clerk.

GM to cut 25,000 jobs over three years

Vonage and Uniden teaming up

Engadget is reporting that Vonage and Uniden are teaming up to add support for Vonage’s VoIP broadband phone service to Uniden’s UIP1869V cordless phone base station. The base station will have a VoIP gate built in! I’ve already got Vonage and Uniden cordless phones. Time to upgrade? We’ll see…
