Firefox 1.0.4 Released

In case you haven’t heard, there’s a new release of the Firefox web browser. Version 1.0.4 fixes security vulnerabilities in earlier versions. Everyone should upgrade.

SBC Opens 911 Service to VoIP Providers

This is great news for VoIP users! I’m currently in an area serviced by SBC, so hopefully this means true 911 service in the future.
SBC Communications announced plans on Wednesday to help Internet phone companies offer more-reliable 911 services for their subscribers, becoming the last of the Baby Bells to tackle worrisome emergency-service defects.

In marketing Super Bowl XL at Ford Field in 2006, Detroit officials constructed a mock downtown loft — two walls, tables, chairs, a couch and fireplace. The loft was at the media headquarters in the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, which hosted last week’s Super Bowl.

Our driveway has finally been poured! They said to wait 8-10 days before driving on it.
