Barcoding Inc. has created an application that automatically detects the location of an asset using standard wireless infrastructure.
Does this mean any unique wifi device can be located? If true, people using WiFi enabled pdas, laptops, or even VoIP phones can be physically located via triangulation. I only think of this because Oakland County is going to offer free WiFi access across the entire county.
