Introducing DJ Chrome Radio
I helped my brother Jim a.k.a. DJ Chrome start his own Podcast. Introducing DJ Chrome Radio! He mixes all kinds of electronic music. He’s currently into psy-trance. Good stuff!
On a side note, I have seen a lot of confusion over "podcasting". A lot of people think it’s exclusive to iPod owners. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Although the original concept came from the idea of automatically downloading audio content onto an iPod, it really has little to do with Apple’s famous MP3 player. To confuse things further, a lot of podcasters out there put the following button on their page:
I would like to propose using something like this instead:
Not only does it remove the stigma that podcasts are only for iPods, but it also says a little bit more as to what type of audio you should expect from the feed. In this case, MP3. Who says it can’t be .torrent, or .wma, or some other format for distributing audio content? Food for thought…
