Podcasting
What is Podcasting you ask? It’s basically the same thing as an RSS news feed. Instead of receiving text, you receive audio! If this means nothing to you, think of it this way. You have a client on your computer that periodically checks whatever podcasts you’ve subscribed to. If it finds a new post, it will download an MP3 file. Depending on your client and how you configure it, the MP3 could be automatically added to a playlist, or better yet, automatically copied to your MP3 player. Think of it, all you have to do is plug in your MP3 player, and all your favorite podcasts are automatically downloaded for you to bring with you. Listen in your car, while exercising, etc.

Getting Started
- Download a client. I recommend Doppler.
- Add your favorite podcasts.
I like both of Leo Laporte’s podcasts (KFI & The Laporte Report). The Binary Revolution podcast is another good one.
There are some great directories of podcasts.

There is a also a growing thing known as "mob casting". A mob cast is a mobile podcast. In other words, instead of recording your podcast at home (or even recording it on the go, but then bringing it home to upload) a mob cast is when you record your podcast on the go, and publish it on the go!
