I’ve decided to move to a more of a blog format for my website. This allows me to make regular posts about my life, technology, news, and other geek-related stuff.
Hopefully I will be living in a new city by the end of next month. For those of you keeping up I am about to "sign my life away", as they say. Tanya and I are buying our first home. It’s a condo in Auburn Hills, just south of Great Lakes Crossing. It’s scheduled to be completed February 11. We should be moving in around the 16th.
Am I really an adult? I still don’t feel like one. All the indicators say that I am, however. I work 40 hours a week, am about to have mortgage payments, and will be happily married next year. Tanya and I have officially set our wedding date for August 12, 2006! Mark your calendars.
In other family-related news, my cousin Tim will be shipping off to Iraq. He deals with public relations in the Air Force. Come May, he’ll be stationed at Baghdad International Airport (formerly Saddam International Airport). We will all wish him well, and hope he returns safely.
